History:

Metro Insurance Services, Inc. was established in 1983 and during the early years, Metro Insurance operated as a retail agency.  In 1990 Metro Insurance sold its retail operations and made the transition from a retailer to a wholesaler.  Ever since Metro Insurance has been in operating as a wholesale intermediary, there has always been a combination of underwriting and brokerage business.  As  such, our computer systems are designed to handle policy issuance, rating, claims management and accounting functions.
